March 2024 Synergy & Microsoft Workshop

Thank you to everyone who attended our Microsoft Teams and Windows 11 workshop on 20 March 2024. The workshop focused on 

1. Advanced Teams Meetings:

   • This workshop delved into a multitude of meeting options that go beyond the typical Outlook Meeting.
   • Participants explored the exciting world of Channel Meetings, Webinars, Virtual Appointments, and Town Halls.
   • Alternative methods for creating meetings using the innovative Bookings Page and Scheduling Poll were discussed.
   • The session concluded by unveiling a selection of invaluable apps, including Meeting Notes and Polls, to enhance the meeting experience.
     
     

2. Microsoft Cyber Security:

   • A vital topic in today’s digital world, this seminar focused on cyber security.
   • Key aspects covered included passwords, phishing, and hacking.
   • Participants learned about the importance of strong and unique passwords, how to avoid falling victim to phishing scams, and how to protect devices and networks from hacking attacks.
   • By the end of the seminar, attendees gained a better understanding of the risks and challenges of cyber security and how to safeguard their online identity and information using Microsoft technologies.
     
     

3. To Do All That You Can Do:

   • This immersive exploration workshop focused on the powerful To Do and Planner apps within Microsoft 365.
   • Participants unlocked the full potential of these apps, discovering their robust functionality.
   • The seamless integration of tasks was highlighted, providing an opportunity to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
